Hello all!
My name is Jessica Hobart and I'll be beginning my fourth and final year as an Honors student at the University of Cincinnati in the fall of 2018. I'm studying Health Sciences with a concentration in Exercise and Movement Science at the College of Allied Health Sciences. I was born and raised in the city of Montgomery (a suburb about 20 minutes north of Cincinnati) and went to Sycamore High School. At the University of Cincinnati, I'm an Ambassador for the University Honors Program, the President of Leaders for Environmental Awareness and Protection (LEAP), and a member of Running Club. As a senior, I will also be working part-time as a Research Student Assistant in the Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy Division of Cincinnati Children's Hospital, and as a Supplemental Instruction (SI) leader for the Anatomy and Physiology I & II courses. Things I enjoy include:
In the future, I strive to accomplish many things. Regarding my education, I hope to successfully complete my Bachelor of Science degree and then graduate from a Doctor of Physical Therapy program that will prepare me best for life as a post graduate. Outside of class during my undergraduate years, I hope to get involved in clubs and activities that will allow me to have the fullest and most enriched college experience possible. Regarding my personal goals, I strive to consistently remain aware of the impact of my thoughts and actions; to act positively and kindly towards myself and others; and to appreciate and enjoy my life to the fullest extent possible. I also intend to run my first 10k (done!), my first half marathon (done!), and my first full marathon (to come) before I graduate. I hope this gives you, the reader, a taste of who I am. Have a great day! |
